This product is an automatic system reinforcing the priority of buses leaving their stop in urban circuit. It is thus a device that automatically signals that a vehicle (Bus or Coach) is about to start. Accidents taking place at the starting of either buses or coaches were sometimes caused by a lack of specific indication. The law requires, with the starting of a vehicle, the manual starting of flashing lights on the side where the bus is about to leave. When driving vehicles with frequent stops, human beings, by repeating several times per hour the same operation inevitably, are not immune against mistakes pertaining, in particular, to signaling of change of position. The developed device makes it possible to prevent this from happening. It is made up of: a luminous signal box fixed on the left back of the vehicle The higher part comprises the arrows of indication and the cell adjusting the light intensity The lower part comprises the text. a set of sensors of proximity or contactors. an electronic panel. When sensors of proximity announce that all the exits are closed, the vehicle is ready to start. The device is then put to function, flickers and signals the imminent starting of the vehicle. The box comprises only one arrow, directed towards the left, and the text "Vehicle about to leave stop", several models are available (see producer).

My idea is for the actual head unit that has no face, and uses the iPhone or iPod Touch as its face and interface.

I had this idea as well. This is not bad. The challenge is figuring out how the device will know when the charger is in use vs wasting power. Probably something like an ammeter. Once you can get that, how about putting an indicator light on the side that compares the wasted power to the average energy cost and indicates when the device has paid for itself, or an LCD the keeps track of your total savings.

cigarette lighter is the only existing power source in a car, and it cannot transmit data. Either you have to use a tape deck adapter, FM broadcasting of mod the car somehow. If you can think of anything else, then you have an idea.

Internet and sex are heavily linked (Isn’t it more than half of all Google searches that are on sex?) and numerous people regularly use it as a “quick/soft sex” mean. Chat rooms and social websites such as Meetic are heavily used to meet potential sex partners. Such a tool could have many uses:
- Couples geographically separated (wouldn’t that help prevent adultery…?) could interact on a higher level than the “Skype level”.
- Chat room users also would want to interact more than with audio/video links, once they get past getting to know each other.
- Safe paid for sexual intercourses could take place, and as mentioned above, this would make the professional’s job very safe.
- People that do not have mobility (handicaps, etc…) could finally get to physically interact with others.
- Since such a toy would have many parameters that the owner could define using a piece of software (Range, Frequency, etc…), it would be made comfortable by the “receiver” him/herself. Hence the complete control of how far things would go, etc…
I am actually very surprised (almost shocked) that only 3 people are contributing to that brilliant idea. I have just joined CrowdSpirit and of all ideas, this is the one that I think stands a real chance to make it big.
The technology is there (Surgeons have operated remotely haven’t they?), we can remotely rotate a webcam with our mouse, why not a Dildo, or any other toy?
In regards to the “society reaction” I do not even think this would create big waves, this would just be another sex toy. And the safe aspect of it is so obvious that it would be very easy to respond to any type of critics.
Having access to extensive and thorough patent searching tools, I have not yet found anything similar in all filed patents.
I would suspect this could happen very soon, though, hence the need to act swiftly? I too, would know who to contact in terms of finance. The technology however, is a bit of a mystery to me (although I do not think this would take a genius), and this is where I would hope others could jump in…

following my previous note on the risk, here the opportunity : This risk is not difficult to overcome...using the good side of the device (reduce distances between lovers, fighting pancreas cancer...:-) , etc) but also something that you didn't talk about, this could fight diseases and moral issues for the prostitution industry (no physical contact, from home, safe (in all senses), ...). This could be a communication baseline to launch the product (i would design it differently than you) : safe prostitution, (more) moral prostitution....

I have the same idea since a few months and wrote a few pages about it. The only resistance (but it is a big one) is the mindset of the society...but I believe that as usual, in the case of the launch of such an innovation, after a few days of media madness, everything will be back to normal... This risk is not difficult to overcome...using the good side of the device (reduce distances between lovers, fighting pancreas cancer...:-) , etc) Anyway, as I wrote before, I have this idea in my mind since a few months (and did also some patent research, by the way) I also already identified some contacts/people, big guys of this industry (with cash that can finance it)...but...

With the advent of the iphone and other such devices touch technology and moving around interactive screens is taking over the keyboard. Touch screens are definately the way to move forward.
