Public Restroom Graffiti Alarm for Mirrors

Problem context :

How often have you visited a public restroom and while washing your hands stared in to a blank spot on the wall in front of you. You would have checked your hair, looked for that speck of dust in your eye or food in your teeth, however, instead of a mirror, you were staring at a blank wall. Why? The mirrors were repeatedly graffitied by "artists" carving their name in to them with sharp objects.
In order to punish those graffiti artists, the restaurant chooses simply to not replace the mirror, thus punishing them, as well as you, an innocent bystander.
Proposed Solution :
Picture this: You walk in to the bathroom, the mirror is mounted on some kind of interesting frame that catches your attention, very obvious wires lead from the frame to a large red fire alarm type of bell you usually see mounted up high on the side of a building. A small sign is shown on the frame stating that in order to prevent graffiti the frame is wired directly to the alarm. "Please do not touch the mirror or alarm will sound"
A momentary switch on the mirror frame immediately triggers a very loud audible alarm upon contact. Hopefully the sound and attention drawn by it is enough of a deterrent to stop them from continuing their artwork.
